Reasons I am voting for Hoss White and I think you should to:

Hoss knows our community: Hoss has lived in Gem County his entire life. He understands who we are, our traditions, our values, our victories, and our struggles. He celebrates the local team, he appreciates our open spaces and rural-community, and he supports small-town businesses. He knows of our limited resources and that if money is to be spent, it must be spent wisely.

Hoss knows our schools: Hoss attended the Emmett schools and graduated from Emmett High School. His children currently go to school in Emmett. In the past year, he has taken school tours and has researched current conditions and regulations to better understand our needs and options.

Hoss knows how to communicate: Hoss asks tough questions and has tough conversations. He’s not looking for a fight or to be right. He is looking to gain truthful information, share new ideas, and work together for the common good. Hoss is accountable for his actions and will hold others accountable for theirs.

Hoss knows what it takes to be a Trustee: Hoss continually focuses on being part of the solution and has dedicated much time volunteering as a member of the Levy and Facilities Committees, creating solutions to improve our schools and educating the community of needs, opportunities and election information. He attends school board meetings regularly and participates in public forum discussions. Hoss is educated and does his research. If he doesn’t know an answer, he will work to find one. Hoss White will serve our community well as an Emmett School District Trustee.

If you spend any amount of time at all getting to know Hoss White I think like me, you will quickly find what a well rounded, caring, and passionate person he is. He is a man of understanding and integrity. I believe he offers much to the school board as a long time Emmett resident that he can combine his knowledge of the past together with a desire to improve the future for all of today’s kids. I believe Hoss is after a solution that is workable for the majority of our growing community. I support Hoss White for school board.

Hoss is honest, down to earth, and cares about the children in the Emmett community. He does his homework, so to speak, concerning the issues at hand but does not overstep his bounds. Hoss is a good guy with a good heart who understands the community, the issues, and the role he can play to improve our schools.
